BSTU students attended festival of latino-american culture

On November 16, 2024, foreign students of the preparatory department and master's students of BSTU from Peru, Ecuador, Australia, Lebanon, Myanmar and Egypt visited the III Festival of Latin American Culture in the Minsk Palace of Children and Youth.

The festival is held on the initiative of the Embassy of Venezuela in the Republic of Belarus. This year, the diplomatic missions of Cuba and Brazil, as well as the honorary consulates of Ecuador, Nicaragua, Peru and Guatemala joined in.

BSTU students visited an exhibition of national costumes, Venezuelan maracas, items of Peruvian folk art and national flowers.

The culmination of the day was a master class in Peruvian cuisine, where everyone was treated to traditional dishes of this country, and the chefs prepared two national dishes of Peru: the popular ceviche appetizer and the Peruvian potato appetizer causa.

The students enjoyed tasting all the dishes offered. They were delicious.
