BSU students won 3rd International Olympiad on financial security
Arina Trukhan, a third-year student of the Faculty of Economics received the winner's diploma. Among winners of the Olympiad were also third-year student of the same faculty Darina Sapova, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Education Daria But-Gusaim and Faculty of Law Alexey Pikus and Marina Esina.
In addition to students from the country's leading university, the Belarusian team included five BSEU students, two of them were also recognized as prize-winners of the competition.
The final stage of the intellectual battle took place from October 2 to 6 at the Sirius educational center in Sochi (Russia). In total, 550 students and schoolchildren from 19 countries took part in it.
The program included solving various economic cases, working on projects, testing and financial investigation. Also during the week, the contestants attended seminars, workshops, master classes, round tables, panel discussions, participated in debates, creative meetings on information, financial and legal literacy, and financial security.
The coordinator of the Olympiad on behalf of the Belarusian side was the Department of Financial Monitoring of the State Control Committee.
It should be noted that the International Olympiad on Financial Security has been held since 2021. The aims at increasing the information, financial and legal literacy of the younger generation.
