Participation in solemn celebrations of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China

On October 31, 2025 an annual Chinese Ambassador's Award Ceremony took place at the Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages. Lilia Zaitseva, director of the Confucius Institute from the Belarusian side, and Wang Xiaomei, director of the Confucius Institute from the Chinese side, participated in this ceremony as well.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, Zhang Wenchuan, the Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Dolzhenkov, and the Rector of BSULI, Natalia Lapteva, addressed the audience with welcoming words.

The Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University was given the opportunity to present two candidates in the categories "Best Chinese Teacher 2025" and "Exemplary Educational Establishment for teaching Chinese". Svetlana Stebikhova, a foreign language teacher at Mogilev Secondary School No. 40, and Mogilev State Regional Lyceum No. 1 became the candidates for these honorary certificates. The suggestions of Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University were approved.
