Belarusian State Academy of Music (BSAM) launches a joint cultural and educational project «Dialogues of Cultures – Bridges of Friendship»

In October 2025, the Belarusian State Academy of Music (BSAM) launched a joint cultural and educational project «Dialogues of Cultures – Bridges of Friendship», supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives of the Russian Federation.

The project's first major event took place on October 20, 2025, with a teleconference entitled «Dedication to Glazunov», dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the outstanding composer, conductor, and teacher. Participants in the teleconference included:

• A.K. Glazunov Petrozavodsk State Conservatory

• Belarusian State Academy of Music

• Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory

During the event, students and teachers were shown a film about A.K. Glazunov's «MORAL TUNING FORK OF THE EPOCH», created by Petrozavodsk Conservatory students Efrosinya Skotnikova and Elena Smurova. Konstantin Parshukov, a master's student at the Petrozavodsk Conservatory and head of the Student Scientific and Creative Society, delivered an open lecture entitled «KARELIA AND GLAZUNOV». The musical welcome included a concert featuring Glazunov's music performed by students and faculty of the Petrozavodsk Conservatory.
