BSUIR hosted the Belarussian-Uzbek forum of universities

October 24, the 1st Forum of Rectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus took place on the basis of BSUIR. More than 30 heads of Belarusian and Uzbek universities discussed current issues in the development of higher education systems in the two countries.

During the forum meeting, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Bakhanovich took the floor with a welcoming speech. He noted that successful cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of education and science lays the foundation for long-term relations between the two countries.

Following the results of the forum, the heads of the Councils of Rectors of the two countries, Vadim Bogush and Odil Abdurakhmanov, signed a Cooperation map.
