The business visit took place as part of the 3rd meeting of the Association of Universities of Belarus and China. The Chinese delegation was led by Sun Litao, Vice President of Southeast University. During the meeting, the parties agreed to update the existing memorandum of understanding. Specifically, they agreed to focus their efforts on joint research projects in high technology. One initiative was the creation of a joint center or laboratory to conduct cutting-edge research in radio electronics. Furthermore, the partners intend to intensify their collaboration within international organizations to promote shared educational and scientific initiatives. Active negotiations are underway to implement dual-degree programs which will help train highly qualified specialists in demand in both countries.
