BNTU works on strengthening ties with Zinbabwe

From March 9 to 18, BNTU was welcoming Maureen Meda, an executive officer of the Zimbabwean intermediary company “SATCO”.

No need to say that the program of the visit was quite diverse and it had two meetings in the Zimbabwean Embassy. The second meeting saw BNTU’s Zimbabwean students taking part. On March 15 Maureen Meda met with the first deputy Minister of Education Alexander Bakhanovich.

During a meeting at BNTU with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yu.A. Nikolaichik, further prospects for cooperation were discussed, M. Meda continued her acquaintance with the structural divisions of our university.

In order to ensure a wider presence of Belarusian education in the Zimbabwean educational services market, visits were organized for Mrs. Meda to the Belarusian State University, the educational institution "Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics", the educational institution "Minsk State Linguistic University", the educational institution "Belarusian State Technological University ". Meetings were held with representatives of the leaderships of these universities and cooperation agreements were signed.
