BNTU met a delegation from the Shanghai Urban Development Professional Institute

October 28, 2024, BNTU met a delegation from the Shanghai Urban Development Professional Institute. This meeting was initiated by the Chinese side, and its purpose was to discuss issues of cooperation in terms of academic exchanges, university research, and training specialists in joint educational programs.

The delegation included Deputy Secretary Lu Li, Director of the Institute of Digital Construction Liu Yalong, Head of the Department of Building Structures Assembly Technology Liang Xiaodan, Deputy Head of the Basic Training Department Huang Yuanyuan, General Director of SIGIKOP-Bel, Chairman of the Chinese Trade and Industrial Association "Gansu" Lu Guoping, translator Xiao Wei.

The negotiations were attended by Vice-Rector for Research K.V. Yakushenko, Dean of the Faculty of International Cooperation P.I. Shirvel, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering S.N. Kovshar and Head of the Department of International Marketing of Educational Services and Work with Foreign Students of the Faculty of International Cooperation I.V. Khatskevich.

During the meeting, the Chinese side noted that BNTU is a university well-known in China for its quality of education and a desirable place to receive an education for citizens of this country.

During the negotiations, the parties identified specialties in the field of construction, in which they plan to carry out joint training of Chinese citizens, discussed the duration of training at each of the parties, the language of instruction, qualifications and degree awarded based on the results of the final certification.

At the end of the meeting, the delegations exchanged memorable gifts and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
