VSU foreign students visited Sukhoi State University

The hospitable Polytechnic University is always glad to have the opportunity to open its doors to students from other institutions of higher learning of our country.

The IX Open Interuniversity Creative Festival of Friendship, held at the Gomel State Technical University, brought together many creative young people who came to the city on Sozh from different regions of Belarus to show their unique talents. Among them are students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, who always take part in the international festival with pleasure and shine on stage, demonstrating a high level of skill and quality training, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in a fabulous atmosphere and feel the national spirit.

After the rehearsals, the excitement before the performance, the stormy reaction of the audience to the creative performances and the cherished award ceremony ended and students went for a walk around Gomel. As part of the festival, a specialist from the department of educational work with youth of the Sukhoi State University, Salah Mohamed Elsayed conducted an interesting excursion for Chinese students as well as senior teacher of the department of “Russian as a foreign language” Tatyana Sergeevna Denisenko and associate professor of the department of music Olga Mikhailovna Zhukova.

Friday evening for city guests turned out to be eventful and interesting: they leisurely strolled along the old Sovetskaya Street with interesting architectural monuments, admired the beauty of the park of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble, got vivid emotions from riding the amusements and visited the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace, that is included in the State List of Historical -cultural values.

Students who came to the southern region from Vitebsk to take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle, relax, learn interesting facts about Belarus and take many bright photos that will serve as a good reminder of the festival that took place at the Polytechnic University.
