Delegation of Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology visited Kupala University
The meeting took place on August 23 and brought together representatives of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Yanka Kupala Grodno State University.
Cooperation between the universities of Belarus and Uzbekistan has a long tradition and it develops in various directions. Representatives of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology - Vice-Rector for Work with Enterprises and Educational Institutions Anvar Shernaev and Head of the Department for Coordinating Joint Educational Programs in Cooperation with Foreign Higher Educational Institutions Laylo Razakova.
Kupala University was represented by Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Vasily Senko, Head of the Research Department Anton Glazev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology Olga Tretyakova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Svetlana Krechko, Head of the Department of Economics and Management at the enterprise Irina Bychek, Head of the Central Research Institute Elena Belokoz , head of the international cooperation department Olga Minova and press secretary Elena Kulesh.
The participants of the meeting greeted each other, the head of the research department Anton Glazev made a presentation on the scientific and innovative potential of Kupala University.
At the meeting, the parties actively discussed promising areas of interuniversity cooperation, including joint scientific events and research in various fields, academic mobility programs for students and teachers, including within the framework of the Visiting Professor program, internships and joint summer schools.
It should be noted that Yanka Kupala State University has 10 Agreements for the implementation of 15 joint educational programs with higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Thus, cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan is implemented within the framework of 14 international agreements, 5 joint educational programs. Over the past year, 10 invited specialists visited Kupalovsky University under the "Invited Professor" program, 7 of our teachers successfully completed internships at universities in Uzbekistan.
At the end of the meeting, the guests exchanged memorable souvenirs.
