As I have previously mentioned, the high standards of education and technological advancement here are particularly appealing to us. Throughout my visit, we thoroughly explored the university's capabilities, and I am hopeful that during my next visit, we can initiate specific collaborative projects.
I was especially captivated by Polotsk, recognized as the oldest city in Belarus, with its rich historical and cultural heritage. I was amazed by the ancient traditions and history that I learned about today. The St. Sophia Cathedral especially left a lasting impression on me – its origins and cultural significance are remarkable. I admire how cultural heritage is preserved here and how the infrastructure is maintained. The organ in the cathedral also made a strong impression on me. It is truly commendable how carefully cultural monuments are treated in Belarus.
Today, I discovered a fascinating cultural and scientific institution. Naturally, I feel compelled to share these impressions with my compatriots, including informing our students about the opportunities at Polotsk University."
The visit of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi marks a significant step towards strengthening international ties and developing educational cooperation between our countries.
