On October 18, the Belarusian State Aviation Academy was visited by a delegation from the leadership of Shenyang Aerospace University, consisting of Vice-Rector Sun Yanpeng , Dean of the College of Economics and Management Jing Hao , Deputy Dean of the College of Electronics and Information Engineering Qu Lele , Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Engine Engineering Sun Dan , Professor of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering Qiu Fusheng and coordinator of Li Dan International College of Education .

According to established tradition, the distinguished guests were greeted in accordance with Belarusian customs: with bread and salt, serving as symbols of blessing, wishes for peace and prosperity. The SHAU delegation was introduced to the exhibition of achievements in the field of science, education and upbringing of the younger generation. Particular emphasis was placed on improving the material and technical base and civic-patriotic education.

During the visit, negotiations took place between the leadership of BSAA and SHAU, at which interactions in the educational and research spheres, the conditions for organizing the training of civil aviation personnel on the basis of BSAA and SHAU, the possibilities of introducing and future development of double diploma programs, issues of academic exchange of students and teaching staff.

At the end of the visit, an excursion around the territory of the Belarusian State Academy took place. SHAU representatives visited a specialized class for teaching first aid to crew members, training sessions at the language training department and a laboratory in the scientific and technical department. The delegation was interested in the Diamond DA-42NG flight and navigation procedural simulator, the Boeing 737NG virtual procedural simulator, and training complexes based on virtual and augmented reality.
