Visiting Harare. BNTU expands its presence in Zinbabwe

Harare, April 17. A meeting was held between the BNTU delegation: Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nikolaychik Y.A. and specialist of the Department of International Marketing and Work with Foreign Students Nogach A.M., with Maureen Meda, director of the BNTU partner recruiting company "Satco".

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation between the university and the recruiting company, as well as training of Zimbabwean students who are already studying at BNTU.

On the same day, as part of a visit to the Harare Institute of Technology, negotiations were held between the Belarusian side and the Vice-Rector of this Institute, Dr. Quinton C. Kanhukamwe, during which issues of further cooperation between the two universities in the areas of creating and implementing educational programs according to the “2+2” model, student exchange programs, organizing summer schools, participation of Zimbabwean representatives in BNTU conferences and publishing their articles in BNTU scientific journals were discussed.

It is noteworthy that the area of ​​scientific interests of the Vice-Rectors of the two partner universities is foundry production, this topic was also given special attention. Vice-Rector Kanhukamwe emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between the two universities and expressed his interest in a bilateral exchange of knowledge and experience.

Summing up the results of the visit of BNTU representatives from 14.04.2025 to 17.04.2025 to Harare, it should be noted that such visits bring together friendly parties, allow us to strengthen trust in each other and together progressively solve the tasks set by the Government and contribute to development for the benefit of both countries.
