In order to ensure the presence of the Belarusian National Technical University in the educational space of individual provinces of the People's Republic of China, to expand interaction with Chinese educational institutions, a delegation of Belarusian universities, which included the head of the department of international marketing of educational services and work with foreign students, Inna Vladimirovna Khatskevich, paid a visit to the province of Jiangxi.

During the trip, I. V. Khatskevich held negotiations on the organization of bilateral cooperation with the vice-rectors of educational institutions in Jiangxi Province: Lao Chongfa (Jiangxi University of Science and Technology), Gao Xiang (Nanchan Normal University), Li Chunggen (Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics), Zheng Pengwu (Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University), head of the international cooperation department and also (in discussion) with the director of Nanchang Aviation University, director of Nanchang Institute of Technology Fan Enping and head of the international department Mo Chun. In addition, a meeting was organized for the Belarusian delegation with Wu Tsowen, head of the Department of Education of Jiangxi Province. Representatives of the leadership of several colleges in the province took part in this meeting.

During these meetings and negotiations, the parties exchanged information about the educational and scientific potential of their universities. The Chinese side was asked to consider the following areas of interaction with BNTU: development and implementation of joint educational programs, cooperation in the field of university science, participation in BNTU summer/winter schools, long-term and short-term internships of Chinese teachers and students at BNTU. The Chinese side expressed mutual interest in cooperation in these areas, as well as in doctoral studies at BNTU, the exchange of students and representatives of the teaching staff, and the creation of a common platform for joint research work.

During the visit, four meetings were also held with university students with a presentation of BNTU and a subsequent quiz on knowledge of facts about BNTU.

Such visits to universities in the PRC undoubtedly serve to strengthen inter-university ties, exchange experiences in the field of quality education, and help increase awareness of Chinese citizens about study opportunities in the Republic of Belarus.
