Visit to Shanghai. Cooperation roadmap between BNTU & Tongji University determined

November 19, 2024, a delegation representing Belarusian National Technical University consisting of Rector S.V. Kharitonchik, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Y.A. Nikolaychik, Head of the Department of Construction Materials and Construction Technology of the Faculty of Civil Engineering S.N. Leonovich and Deputy Head of the Department of International Marketing of Educational Services and Work with Foreign Students V.I. Lyutarevich paid a return visit to Tongji University to discuss and agree on areas of further cooperation.

During the meeting with representatives of Tongji University, the parties outlined the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of academic exchanges of students, graduate students and faculty, organizing joint educational programs in related areas, organizing summer/winter schools, as well as implementing joint research projects.

An important element of the program was negotiations with Vice President of Tongji University Liu Peiming. Mr. Peiming emphasized the importance of further cooperation and also positively assessed the existing experience of BNTU in creating such a unique project as the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of BNTU.
