BSTU foreign student on excursion in he Security Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Minsk

10 January 2024

On January 8, 2024, students of the preparatory department and foreign undergraduates of BSTU visited the Security Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Minsk.

The center is a three-story building with a total area of more than 10,000 sq.m. It houses 35 interactive training sites on transport safety, emergency safety, civil defense, fire and environmental safety, as well as criminal safety, healthy lifestyle and hazardous meteorological phenomena, nuclear and radiation safety and industrial safety.

Of course, it is impossible to see all the locations in one lesson. The excursionists were shown how to behave correctly as pedestrians on the road, in transport during an evacuation, how to properly extinguish a fire and the causes of a fire, they were introduced to the rules of behavior at train stations, in a crowd and during an earthquake and much more.

All the children really liked this form of activity in the form of an excursion, it was informative and interesting.
